Our Voice Our Journey Launches Online Shop Following Demand for Real Talk Cards
Our Voice Our Journey has launched its new online shop following overwhelming demand for its Real Talk Cards — a conversation tool designed to help young people explore topics that matter in a safe and open way.
The cards were originally developed in response to growing concern about the messages many boys are receiving online. Increasingly, young people are exposed to digital spaces that frame vulnerability as weakness and encourage emotional shutdown rather than healthy expression.
Our Voice Our Journey believes conversation is one of the most powerful tools available to challenge that narrative.
Real Talk Cards were created to make those conversations easier to start. Each prompt is designed to open up meaningful, low-pressure discussions about the realities young people are navigating — including emotions, identity, relationships, pressure, and belonging.
Since launching the cards, the response from educators and youth workers has been extraordinary.
“We are seeing an online world spill into our classrooms and our communities.
Boys are growing up surrounded by messages about power, control and success and not enough spaces to stop, question, and work out what they actually think.
Real Talk Cards give young people a way to slow down and think critically about the messages they’re getting about emotions, relationships, identity, and gender.
The response since we launched has been more than I expected. Which tells me people are ready for something different.

Because of that demand, Our Voice Our Journey has now launched an online shop to make these tools more widely accessible.
The shop will allow the organisation to share a growing range of resources and tools that have been co-designed with young people through its programmes and workshops. These resources aim to support educators, youth workers, and communities to create spaces where young people can talk openly about the pressures they face.
Alongside the Real Talk Cards, the shop also features a curated selection of books, She Is Not Your Rehab and This is Not Yours to Carry, supporting wider conversations around healing, accountability, and healthier models of masculinity.
The launch of the shop marks an important step in expanding access to practical tools that help shift the culture around how boys and young men talk about emotions, relationships, and identity.
More resources and tools will continue to be added as Our Voice Our Journey expands its work with young people across schools and youth spaces.
We have a busy year planned, so watch this space!
