What a two weeks.
Our Voice Our Journey has been proud to welcome our friends and partners She Is Not Your Rehab back to the UK for another incredible tour.
Over two packed weeks, we reached more than 1,000 young people and practitioners, distributed more than 5,000 books and sparked hundreds of conversations about relationships, masculinity, trauma, accountability and breaking cycles of violence.
Taking the conversation into communities
The 2026 tour took She Is Not Your Rehab into schools, colleges, alternative education settings, practitioner training, children’s services and HM Prison Prescoed across England and Wales.
At the heart of the tour was a simple approach: creating spaces where young people, particularly boys and young men, feel connected enough to talk openly.
Matt Brown, co-founder of She Is Not Your Rehab, describes this through the Māori concept of the Vā: the sacred space and bond between people. You look after that space before you ask anything of it.
We saw the impact of that approach throughout the tour.
Young people stayed behind to talk. Hundreds of messages were sent afterwards. Teachers and practitioners shared what they had seen shift in the room and the conversations that continued after the events had finished.
As Matt reflected during the tour:
“Stop lecturing boys into being good men. Sit with them, walk with them, model to them what it looks like so they want to be.”
Ending the tour with Love U Bro Live
The tour finished at Emirates Stadium with Love U Bro Live, bringing men and boys aged 16+ together for an evening of honest conversation, connection and reflection.
Delivered in partnership with Our Voice Our Journey, She Is Not Your Rehab, Male Allies UK, Arsenal in the Community and Islington Council, the event encouraged men and boys to check in with each other and challenged the idea that talking about how you feel is a weakness.
Three simple words sat at the centre of it all:
Love U Bro.
More than 5,000 books into communities
Alongside the events, we distributed more than 5,000 books to schools, colleges, prisons and community organisations across England and Wales through our Community Book Programme.
This included This Is Not Yours to Carry, helping children understand that family violence is never theirs to carry, and She Is Not Your Rehab, encouraging conversations around trauma, accountability, relationships and masculinity.
It means the impact of the tour doesn’t finish when She Is Not Your Rehab fly home.
Those books are now sitting in classrooms, community organisations, youth services and other settings, giving practitioners something tangible to keep the conversations going.
Building on our partnership
This is the second She Is Not Your Rehab UK tour organised and planned by Our Voice Our Journey, building on a partnership that continues to reach more young people, practitioners and communities.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
The real impact is in the young person who stays behind to talk. The message sent afterwards. The teacher who approaches a conversation differently. The practitioner who takes something back into their work. The boy who goes home and tells someone he loves them.
To everyone who attended, hosted us, supported the tour, shared the work or helped make these conversations possible: thank you.
And to Matt, Sarah and the She Is Not Your Rehab whānau, thank you for continuing to trust Our Voice Our Journey to bring this work to communities across Wales and England.
Two tours, thousands of people reached and conversations that continue long after the events finish.
Keep the conversation going
The tour may be over, but the work continues.
Practitioners working with children and young people in eligible areas can join the REWIRED Network for access to resources, training, events and opportunities to connect with others doing this work.
She Is Not Your Rehab books and other resources can also be ordered through our online shop, with bulk ordering available for schools, services and organisations through our new form.

Love U Bro. Until next time.
